Giglio Island: all the beauty of Cala degli Alberi

The sea and tranquility are the two main attractions of one of the most beautiful beaches of Giglio Island. Cala degli Alberi is located along the southern coast of the island, not far from another famous beach this place: Caldane beach.

Cala degli Alberi, as the name suggests, is a small cove of rocks, where lie in the sun in front of the sea. A sea that is just lovely, pristine and transparent, and its color varies from turquoise to emerald. The seabed slopes gently.

The seabed indeed makes Cala degli Alberi a place recommended for every snorkeling lover. The sea of this beach is in fact rich in sea grass and fishes. Nearby there’s also the wild Punta di Capel Rosso, one of the excursions to do during a holiday in Giglio Island.

Although it is one of the most beautiful island, Cala degli Alberi is not recommended during a holiday with the kids. In fact the best way to reach the beach is by sea, perhaps during a boat trip leaving from the town of Giglio Porto.
