The best beaches for children of Giglio island are three:

• Arenella bay. A long strip of white sand immediately recognizable thanks to the palm that grows in front of it. From the beach you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Argentario.
• Campese beach. To get there, it takes about fifteen minutes by car from the town of Giglio Campese. It is the largest of the island and is located within a bay that protects it from winds.
• Cannelle Beach. It is located on the east coast, just south of the town of Giglio Porto. The fine white sand and the granite rocks that surround it contributed to make it famous. It is also very crowded during the summer.

Arenella, Campese and Cannelle are easily reachable, a not insignificant feature during a holiday with children. You can get there either by your own transport (on one of the ferries to Giglio Island) or by bus.
