Beer festival on Giglio Island: two mugs on the seashore of Tuscany

Maybe, in October you will not find the ideal weather for plunge into the sea (but never say never, you could swim for the last time of the season). On the other hand, the temperatures are great for a good and fresh mug of beer, preferably with your friends. Especially from October 8 to 11, 2015, when the beer festival of Giglio Campese will take place.

Ironically renamed October fest…ival and organized by San Rocco association, the beer festival is (also) a food and wine event, where you can find the typical products of Giglio island. And the several stands will offer the most various types of beer, from stout to weissbier.

Between a mug and another, and between a coniglio alla cacciatora and a cacciucco, there will be music with several bands that will perform near the splendid bay of Campese. Because beer festival will take place near one of the most beautiful beaches of Giglio Island, precisely the beach of Campese.

The stands of the beer festival 2015 will be set up in the sports field of Giglio Campese. The stands will be open:

• from 4pm to 2am on October 8, 9 and 10
• from 9am to 1pm on October 11
