You are near of one of the most beautiful beaches of Giglio Island. On your left there is a rocky headland that push out into the sea of this place. And is right there, just a few meters from the tip of the promontory, that rises the sea stack of Giglio Island.
This is one of the most visited and photographed sides of the island. Visited because, as already mentioned, is located at one end of Campese beach, named after the nearby village: it is a long strip of white sand, with all the services you may need, especially recommended if you are spending a vacation with the kids.
It is also one of the most photographed places on the island. The stack is like a long rocky spur rising from the sea. There is a path, starting from Giglio Campese, who passing through the low vegetation reaches the tip of the promontory: an hike above the sea of the island, from where you can admire and take pictures of the stack.
The best time of day to enjoy this pleasant walk is at sunset, when the sea and the stack of Giglio Island are tinged with red: you will hardly find more charming and romantic view.
