3 itineraries to discover Giglio Island by motorcycle

You go on holiday only with your beloved motorcycle. In the place where you are going, there must be straight roads, curves, hairpin turns. For this reason, the chosen destination is Giglio Island. And to discover it by motorcycle, there are these three roads.

First road: from Giglio Porto to Giglio Campese

Giglio Porto is the location of the island where ferries to Giglio island dock. From here there is a 10 kilometers long road that will delight every motorcyclist with straight roads, curves, hairpin turns. The view from this road is breathtaking, just be careful.

Second road: from Giglio Porto to Giglio Castello

Giglio Island is in the central part of the island, it rises on a hill from which it’s possible to admire the entire island. The road from Giglio Porto to Giglio Castello is not so long, about 4-5 kilometers but it’s worth it, panoramas of this road won’t disappoint you.

Third road: the old lighthouse

There’s a 6 kilometers long road from Giglio Castello to the old lighthouse of the island. The views, there’s no need to say, are unforgettable. But you have to be careful: the road is steep, there is no guardrail (avoid this road if you suffer from vertigo) and the last part is unpaved.
